Our horses are decendents of some of the most amazing AQHA horses of all times. We are slowly building our broodmares. We look for nice hips, shapely heads, foundation running/working cow lines, and a good personality.We have plans to breed these mares to today's proven barrel competing sires.Western Horseman's "Legends" series, Volume 1-7 help me in my research along with Barrel Horse News and knowledge from trainers and breeders. I highly recommend these materials to learn the foundation and today's performance stallions and mares of America's #1 equine breed.

STEEL MELODY 2001 Gray mare by Wilchar Steel Echo x Sheza Adorable. Melody runs barrels and poles she ran a 16.4 barrel pattern the fall of her 3 yr old year at Grizzle Ridge Arena in "04" and 1 point shy of being High Point Horse at Camp Aura, Pa in "05". Showing promise of being a steady 2-D barrel horse. Twist Hard Bars, Steel Bars, Custus Rastus (TB), Capital Gain.... she's tough. Steel Melody was bred by Dick and Anita Blake at their Wolf Run Ranch in 2001. Her sire, Wilchar Steel Echo, was also a competitor in barrels and poles. Melody is being run by Maddie Ware of Washington, Pa for the "08" season.

JR Lady Gray 1999 Gray mare by Mickey Vista Bar x Ole Sandy Doll.Jackie's bloodlines includes Beau Bonanza by Coy Bonanza by Jaguar by Custus Rastus (TB) and Mame Taylor. Also the popular stallion Sonny Dee Bar...... "Jackie" has a very intresting cross but with the right stallion her foals bloodlines could go from intresting to winning. Jackie is just simply classy mare with a smooth topline. Jackie is also bred to "A Joe Tee Lad", for a May 2008 foal. We have big foal producing plans for her.

TOP OF THE MOON GAL 2002 Chestnut mare by Wimpy Bars Lee x Bar Flies. Breezy has Top Moon on her papers. She is very athletic and runs the pasture every day to prove it. With Breezy we plan to show then breed her eventually.

Cowboy Kahuna (Name Pending) 2007 Roan stud colt by Cowboy Courtesey x Steel Melody. Jinx is out of our competitive mare Steel Melody. We did have him up for sale but with Jinx being the only foal out of Melody and her competing, he'll be staying a stud and on the farm. Jinx reminds me alot of his mother when she was his age, to us that's very promising.

McCues Money Maker 2006 Buckskin gelding by King Blackburn Teddi x Miss Brown Rapper. JR is our Jet Smooth/ Smooth Dream bred gelding, he is currently at the trainers Dec-Apr 2008. We plan for JR to make his first barrel racing exibition not til Spring 2009.
